Doing research and following the life of a person can give one huge insight and thoughts on who the person is. For my project 1 assignment I wrote upon the Harry Potter franchise, which is definitely interesting. Being given the opportunity to follow the aspects of what makes the Harry Potter name such a massive franchise served as an interesting way to keep myself busy and learn more about something I care about. I learned a couple of critical things that I definitely think will improve my next Project. What I found from my Peer Reviewed document was that I had made careless mistakes that could’ve easily been taken care of by proofreading the paper a couple of times. By doing this, I will be able to turn in a more polished first draft and final draft.
Regarding Peer Feedback, I personally understand the benefit of peer review as it allows the student to view his/her own paper through a different perspective. My plan for revision is too finish my first draft for Project 2 at least four days in advance. This will allow me to proofread my paper once everyday so I can make revisions accordingly without rushing to turn it in. Once I know the paper has been revised, I’ll skim through it one final time before submitting it.
