There is a Chinese saying, “Man eats by nature.” What it means is that food is the life source to all people, to citizens and other living organisms. However, what if food, as the source of life, as the key to people’s well-being, as the crucial segment of life, What if the ingredients of food are unacceptable to people? This advertisement by the Surfrider Foundation best illustrates the idea of saving the ocean and the sea animals we depend on for food. This picture as a whole conveys its idea by showing the picture with food made of something else. Plastic. This ad is effective in doing all this and spread awareness of ocean polluting. Every day, people are producing a large amount of wastes. They are either being thrown into the trash can, or being recycled by the sorted recycling companies or discarded into the nature. Cases and cases, numerous numbers of pictures, and public service advertisements, have shown a commonplace, which visitors left the beach with trashes. Indeed, what goes around comes around, and what we put in the ocean, comes back to us, when you “carelessly” toss the trash around in a place you expect to find your next meal.
